Constructional Details
- Stator : Powder coated for corrosion resistance. To protect windings, thick end laminations are provided.
- Rotor : Suitably baked for corrosion resistance under water, dynamically balanced for vibration-free smooth operation.
- Motor Body : Stainless steel.
- Windings : High dielectric PVC/Polyester insulated, water cooled asperIS:8783 (Part4/Sec.1&3)
- Impellers : High quality abrasion resistant Stainless steel , dynamically balanced.
- Bowl : Cast Iron as per FG200 Grade of IS:210.
- Shaft : Hard, annealed Stainless steel shaft of adequate diameter to ensure rigidity is ground to microns.
- Journal Bearings : Leaded bronze / Nitrile Rubber water lubricated bushes, having high load bearing capacity.
- Thrust Bearings : Special self-aligning heat-treated S.S. segments are water lubricated to withstand high axial thrust load under adverse conditions.
- Breather Diaphragm : Optimum size to compensate the volumetric variation of water inside the motor due to change in temperature.
- Suction Casing : Provided with perforated Stainless steel strainer of adequate size to allow suction of water with minimum friction.
- Casing Wear Rings : High quality abrasion resistant Nitrile rubber.
- Cable Sealing Arrangement : Cable glands,rubber seal and sand guard are provided to protect the motor, from ingress of borewell water and other foreign matter.
